16th AOAFF powered by DEI: A “River” ran through us

In collaboration with the Hellenic Foundation for Books and Culture, and as part of a two-part screening programme entitled “From Book to Screen,” the 16th Athens Open Air Film Festival powered by DEI offered audiences the rare opportunity to experience one of cinema’s most beautiful films as it was meant to be seen: Jean Renoir’s The River, presented in a digitally restored version and returning to the big screen after many years.

We would like to thank you warmly for your enthusiastic attendance on both screening days. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to ELIVIP for giving us the opportunity to inaugurate the Garden of the House of Books with a truly remarkable work of cinema. The Garden aspires to become a beautiful, inclusive and vibrant cultural haven.

We wish it every success!

With the delicious experience of Elite.

The 16th Athens Open Air Film Festival powered by DEI is co-organized by the City of Athens Culture, Sports and Youth Organization.
