Seven years after Ridley Scott presented the most dangerous alien creature that ever appeared on the silver screen, James Cameron undertakes the risky task of directing the second part of this cinematic epic called «Alien» and – indeed against all odds – he copes extremely well. The sci-fi queen, Sigourney Weaver, plays again the role of Captain Ellen Ripley, who after the destruction of Nostromo spaceship, returns to the planet she first encountered the hostile alien creature.
This time she is escorted by a team of especially trained marines who are trying to help the residents of the far-away planet LV-426. However, even this team will not suffice when Ripley literally comes face-to-face with her most painful nightmares.
It is an anniversary screening for the film’s 30 years since its first release.
