The summer film festival returns for its 13th year with a rich and delightful program, featuring beloved and new destinations in the city of Athens and beautiful islands in the Aegean Sea (with the support of the South Aegean Region).

The Athens Open Air Film Festival is organized by the Athens International Film Festival and the Organization of Culture, Sports, and Youth of the Municipality of Athens (OPANDA), with Nova as the major sponsor.

OFFICIAL OPENING OF THE FESTIVAL
20:30 CINEMA PARADISO by Giuseppe Tornatore (Nuovo Cinema Paradiso, 1988 | 123')
Theater Kolonou (Ippiou Hill, Ioanninon & Kapaniou Street), Athens
In collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of Athens.
The concert by the El Sistema Greece Youth Orchestra (members aged 11-26) will precede, presenting live performances of the compositions created as part of the project "B-ME: Blending Melodies: Bridging Cultural Identities," where 15 composers and 15 musicians from a refugee or migrant background co-created authentic compositions aiming to bridge different cultural identities.
