Kotzia Square was transformed into the “Grand Budapest Hotel” for one night

The award-winning film by Wes Anderson returned to the big screen, with hundreds of spectators enjoying one of the most dazzling creations of contemporary American cinema under the stars of Athens.

On Tuesday, June 23, the 16th Athens Open Air Film Festival powered by DEI, invited audiences into a world filled with color, intrigue, and glamorous stars through the Oscar-winning film "The Grand Budapest Hotel".

Our next appointment is at Parko Eleftherias on Wednesday, July 1, for a screening of Ingmar Bergman’s masterpiece "The Virgin Spring", presented in collaboration with the Museum of Cycladic Art as part of the exhibition Jeff Koons: Aphrodite of Lespugue.

The film was selected especially for this screening by the artist himself, Jeff Koons.

The 16th Athens Open Air Film Festival, powered by DEI, is co-organized by the Organization for Culture, Sports and Youth of the Municipality of Athens.
