Call for Production Services at the 15th Athens Open Air Film Festival
We are looking for a team member to join the Production Department of the Athens Open Air Film Festival for the period June – September 2025.
The Athens Open Air Film Festival was launched in the summer of 2011, bringing cultural events to life throughout Athens. From June to September, open-air film screenings are held across the city (in parks, squares, museum courtyards, archaeological sites, and summer cinemas), with the aim of highlighting the urban landscape and engaging both residents and tourists.
With a program that includes hidden gems of world cinema, classic masterpieces, premieres, short and feature-length films from new Greek cinema, and silent films accompanied by live music, each venue is transformed into a unique cinematic experience. As the most active festival in the capital, it offers a passionate, art-filled four-month program, with all screenings and events free to the public.
The Athens Open Air Film Festival, the biggest summer cinema celebration in Athens, is seeking a Production Associate with the following qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills
- Team spirit
- Availability during preparation and screening hours throughout the festival (June – August 2025)
- Proficiency in Google Drive and Excel
- Possession of a private vehicle (car)
Tasks include:
- Transforming various venues into “open-air cinemas”
- Placing and sometimes transporting promotional materials at screening locations
- Communicating with partner organizations and festival collaborators
