Foul-mouthed? Yes. Rude? Yes. Cynical? Yes. Anarchic? Yes. Funny? Yes - οf course yes. Midway between the vintage college farce, the youthful sex-comedy and the rampant parody of the most conservative institutions, «Animal House» (1978) manages to remain one of the most prominent anti-authority satires ever made by an American studio.

Nevertheless, maybe none of this would matter as much had John Landis’ frantic creation not continued to be, 35 years after its very successful initial release, as hilarious and uplifting as it is: an American classic which knows how to throw the most amazing parties, how to come up with the most effective “pick-up lines”, how to place John Belushi at the forefront of the bash, and how to timelessly ridicule any sign of pomposity.

The Dean at a University decides to expel all the members of a fraternity, yet those troublemakers have other plans...
