Do we stop playing when we grow old or do we grow old when we stop playing? The hilarious "Brats" try to give an answer to this fundamental issue that comes between growing old and growing up.

Thomas has just got enganged to Lola and pays a visit to her parents, Gilbert and Suzanne, in order to meet them and let them know about the joyful news. Gilbert, desperate about his conventional life as a retired family man facing a mid-life crisis, tries to convince his son-in-law-to-be to not make the same mistakes. And so they embard on a new life full of debauched acts and adventures, convinced that the freedom they seek is somewhere... out there! To what cost will they follow their dreams, however?
