Human trafficking is a reality spread everywhere. And it is much closer to us than we might think. The film is the result of a long and persistent research on the problem of human trafficking in Canada conducted by Hélène Choquette.

In the context of her research, the director met with more than 100 people, ranging from members of non-governmental organizations who specialize in tackling the phenomenon, to victims who found the strength to share their stories.
