Mystery and sensuality flood Agias Eirinis Square

Everyone who was at Agias Eirinis Square last night surely enjoyed one of the warmest summer evenings. With a background of beautiful buildings surrounding the Square, the 3^rd Athens Open Air Film Festival created an ambiance of mystery and sensuality with the screening of the film «One Deadly Summer».

Right before the screening began, crowds of people who were there – and loads of tourists – had the chance to watch a magnificent capoeira show on the occasion of the birthday of a nearby bar.   

Among the audience, a lovely group was spotted: the actress Themis Bazaka, the director Giorgos Tseberopoulos, the professor Konstantinos Tsoukalas and his wife Fotini Tsalikoglou.

Isabelle Adjani’s sexuality and passion overflowed the screen creating an atmosphere of tension in the great central square. Fischer was also there, to cool down the warm night by offering free cold beer.

The screening was realized with the kind support of the Greek National Tourism Organization and the collaboration of the French Institute of Greece and the French Embassy.

We wish you a great weekend and we are expecting you next Monday, July 29 and Tuesday, July 30 at the screenings of the human trafficking documentary «Avenue Zero» in Mesologiou Square in Pagrati and the film «Circus» by Charlie Chaplin in the open air theatre Lais of the Greek Film Archive, which will be accompanied by the band «His Majesty the King of Spain» who composed the music especially for the occasion.
